K’uk’ulkan, meaning " Plumed Serpent ", is the Mesoamerican serpent deity of the Pre-Columbian Yucatec Maya. Sixty-six million years ago, a mountain-size asteroid slammed into Earth just off the coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, dooming the dinosaurs and leading to their extinction. This pendant features a hand dug and hand polished Red Plume Agate from (Curecanti Creek, Gunnison, CO, USA) with a Ruby perched above it, all sitting atop an agatized Dinosaur Bone. Wrapped in .925 sterling silver.
