Demeter
Demeter
Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and presides over grains and the fertility of the earth. Although she was most often referred to as the goddess of the harvest, she was also goddess of sacred law and the cycle of life and death.
This pendant represents five years of my collected knowledge in jewelry. Every year around this time I make a Wrapiversary piece to truly put my skills to the test, and go above and beyond anything I thought previously possible. This year was no exception. I have always been amazed at the jewelry worn by royalty in the medieval times. They were extravagant, elegant, and truly masterful in their creation. This piece is a sort of tribute to the past, and a deep look into the future. Representing the cycles of life we go through, and grow from.
